  • Player Of The Year..If Season Ended Tomorrow?

    Who would it be?

For me just edging it would be Shaun Derry.

He obviously felt appreciated yesterday, as he got loads of QPR fans singing his name

Derry for me as well. I can't remember him having a bad game. Ever consistent and our leader on the pitch.

He's one of those players that must be a pain to play against, as you know he'll always be there giving you grief for 90 minutes.

It feels harsh to only be allowed to pick one player of the year as there are easily 4-5 players deserving of it.

Taarabt - His contribution has been immense with goals and assists! Goal diference, and points tally, and there have been some key games that he has won for us!

Adel, makes watching football enjoyable, only player we got who can win a game with pure magic. Has his moments, but all flair players do.

It can only be Adel. Voting Kenny or Derry is just being sentimental so you can vote for the plucky corporal rather than the officer. Look at the bigger picture. Adel is not only our player of the season he is the division's player of the season by a country mile. He has been a different league to everyone, including Bellamy, Boothroyd, Sinclair etc. Don't get me wrong I'm hugely appreciative of what Kenny and Derry and several other unsung heroes such as Clint Hill have done this season but ultimately if they had got injured I do believe Warno could have replaced them but how, possibly, could we have replaced Adel? He has been the difference between us and everyone else in the division.

That's your opinion mate, but it's unfair to judge mine because it doesn't tie in with yours. My choice is on merit, and fully deserved. You say Taarabt has been involved in our goals, but we'd have list far more without the heroics of Kenny. He's been outstanding.

Adel by a country mile. Flair and scoring goals generally gets you promoted. I rate kenny as the best keeper in the league but if you put it Cerny we would still win games, if adel got injured we would struggle and I say that as a massive Buzz fan but if Adel plays well we win it is really that simple.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Kenny. He's been more consistently good than Adel...with less strops.

Taarabt - no doubt Kenny and Derry have been consistently great all season but without Adel we wouldn't have scored nearly as many goals as we have. He is just magic

                              Agree.

Without him we would be nowhere near top of the league.Yes he sulks and has off days, but his goals and assists are the difference between us being top instead of 7th.

Kenny,Derry,Mackie and Hill have all been superb, but Adel get's it for me.
