Loyalty points are there for a reason.

That's why I will be fine for Cardiff and Watford. These are the games to reward those who travel up and down the country all season.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

agree, thats the whole point of loyalty points, to reward those who go week in week out. hopefully i'll have enough points for Cardiff...

This is a touchy subject. I have been to the 'Welsh' away games over the last few seasons as I have family both in Cardiff and Swansea and a whole party of us go. I went to Boro, Derby, Swansea, Cardiff, Preston just to name a few, last season and have been to similar away games this season. I have accumulated approx 75 - 100 points each season for the last few but that gets me zilch. I cannot get to 6/7 midweek home games each season due to my location and work so a ST is not of value to me.

I have been following our beloved team since 1974 and because I have not been to the majority of away games this season people want to dictate whether or not I am entitled to a ticket for Cardiff?

        The second word if off

I hope the tickets go on general sale straight away and everyone who wants one gets one. Those travelling from distances like mine and further should get more loyalty points if the system was fair. But like many things in life it is not.

I have been to many away games over the years when we struggle to get more than 600 fans so 2000 for Cardiff with the game live on telly too should be fine

        Rant over
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

I always plan to try to get to a many away games as possible but money comes to what I can get to. I am season ticket holder and will want too go to watford last game of season have been to cuople away games this season so far going to Millwall. I don't believe there is a fear system on getting tickets but do believe this should how it goes Season tickets holder that gone to more than 10 away games come 1st then Season tickets holders, then memeberss with 10+ away games with overseas fans on who are members that come to 3 games so far, then members then those on dater base the Gen.

So in your system, as I am not a member,I wouldn't get any preference despite over 36 years of loyalty?

You could have become a Member like all the others who forked out though and the ones who did will I expect have an excellent chance of importent away tickets when the time comes otherwise what is the point of having season tickets or memberships in the first place if it does not reward in some way?

agree isleworth.....anybody who travels the distance that some fans do have to get priority over everyone else..end of. there are certain cases need to be looked at (i.e..fans from ireland/abroad etc that clearly can't get to games as much). well done on your support by the way.

Isleworth and Pete are spot on with this one.

Those who went to games like Ipswich and Swansea on a Tuesday night are in my opinion most definitely those that are most deserving to get tickets for the Cardiff and Watford games.

From a personal point of view, I probably won't get a ticket in the away end for these two as I am not a season ticket, and my mate usually gets our tickets for away games so I probably have 0 loyalty points, though I have been to the vast majority of home games and at the end of the season, will have been to around 10 aways. Being at uni means I don't have the money for an ST anymore.

However, I don't see that it's fair that myself, or a fan from abroad should go over those that have been to most of, if not all away games this season - someone point out to me why those people should miss out?

However, I do think the loyalty points should stretch back to when they were first introduced, that makes it at least a big fairer for those who have perhaps had kids or something and can't go so often now, despite having gone more regularly in the past couple of seasons.

                    Agree with isleworth and Hammersmith...

Tickets should go 1st and foremost to those who have travelled up and down the country to follow QPR.. If you dont go to those games all season you cant really argue much if you dont manage to get a ticket for the big ones come the end of the season such as this one Cardiff away...

Ive been to a fair few away and will be at most of them from now until the end of the season so should be ok for a Cardiff ticket, well, i better be, ive already brought my train ticket..

Surely someone living in Ireland should get a higher rate on the loyalty points, just because of the logisitics of getting here, say from someone who lives in London.

Saying that, just because someone wants to go to WAtford, but haven't been to an away game all season, don't think they should jump the queue so to speak over fans who have travelled up and down the country all season.
I've been to Ipswich away already this season. Im sorry I cant afford to go to every home and away game. I have a life outside of football.

therefore you should'nt get a ticket over people who go to far more games.

With the greatest respect....why should you get a Watford/Cardiff ticket over someone who has been to all off the away games opposed to you who has only been too two or three?

Its called rewarding people for their support to the players & the club all over the county.

You don't have much of, if any sort of argument here at all.

I'm not going to get myself into argument about what makes someone a good fan etccc, but surely you must agree that going to a few homes and one away game and getting a ticket would be unfair on someone who has gone to most home and away and misses out?

AGAIN not my fault I am a student nurse who has to work a lot of the weekends on placement. Just because I dont go to many games doesn't mean I'm not as loyal as the others. I love QPR as much as they do.
