Agree on Adel. I find it hard to believe NW hasn't defined clear responsibility for taking penalties for each game. Adel would not have gone against that otherwise there would be sanction from NW. If HH tried to override the pre-agreed rule, he would be in the wrong. 0-2 is not home and dry. If the penalty was to go 4 up, then im sure Adel would have handed the ball over to HH.

Hall and Shittu haven't given up a goal yet, so yes.

Miller didn't play - which was nice because he was rested before Leicester. I didn't think NW wanted to put up a cricket score....

Excellent appraisal and whilst I can understand the difference of opinion with regards to the penno and being on a hat-trick etc no harm done and, if it improves Adel's confidence for future games and HH has no probs then all good stuff in my book....

Anyone watching the cricket.. scary and India are heading for a monstrous total and can't see England chasing down the 350ish they will need to win... here's hoping...

Actually, it was a problem, as soon as adel picked himself up he pointed at his chest to say I am taking the pen, helguson went to get the ball off him but adel wouldnt have any of it.

Now the rule we have been playing to is you dont take the penalty of you are the one fouled so clearly it should have been been helgusons pen, nothing to do with vanity and heguson being on a hatrick.

then derry had a word with adel and was sent packing, then while he was spotting the ball buzsaky started in on adel and had to eventually be pulled away by routledge

I was pleased that after adel scored helguson and buzsaky both congratulated Adel but that sort of thing is clearly not ideal. clearly the highlights didnt show this but thats what happened and there were plenty of fans there not happy with it, not just me.

On a brighter note the pass from faurlin to taraabt that led to the first goal was sublime as was Adels control and feed for helguson, a real touch of premiership quality

Trouble is, we don't know what the instructions from on high were. Unless or until we do, it's a bit harsh to judge whether it was selfishness by AT, or "just following orders".

Frankly, I don't care.
We won 3-0, are 5 points clear, and I couldn't care less if the goals are penalties by Taarabt or deflections off of Hulse's backside.

Not me, just telling it as i saw it from the stand rather than highlights on tv as they didnt reveal the actuality

as for the suggestion that it may have been on orders from Warnock, if it was then he should have told the rest of the team then they wouldnt have been up in arms about it would they?

Of course not - because footballers can't behave like petulant, spoiled brats can they?

Who is our penalty taker....just answer that question - I don't give two **** for an ego trip for one player - this is about the team going up. Not the HH show.

There is no debate at all and that is the problem with opinions. You are just shouting the loudest and telling people what you think is right and defending your opinion with things like "EDIT - Just seen what NW has to say on it. I rest my case", which will not change someone else's opinion, who saw things differently.
