  • Just back...

Much more controlled performance than away at Preston. I feared a carbon copy after we took the lead at roughly the same time as we did there, but fortunately Boro were pretty awful.

Shittu and Hall won everything in the air, only defensive scare of the game was the Kenny boot out in the first couple of minutes.

Just read Mowbray's comments - deary me he is very bitter and trying to hide the shortcomings of his team!

Result was never in doubt after the 2nd went in and the only disappointment for me was that Taarabt was so selfish to take the penalty rather than offer his team mate the chance of getting a hat trick. Derry and Buz certainly let him know they weren't impressed!

My M.o.M.: Big Dan. Colossal against Lita who has enjoyed too much success against us over the years.

    Re the penalty?

Who ever is our penalty taker should take the penalty - so if that is Adel then he was correct to take it. It is not about a hat trick - it is about ensuring 3 points.

Remember Hall's penalty miss against Barnsley - almost cost us 3 points just because he wanted his hat trick
The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort and convenience, but where he stands at times of challenge and controversy.

spot on, also think AT needed a confidence boost and a goal tends to do that.

is moaning is stamped to some qpr fans genes? he worked hard for the pen and the whole match and give the assist for helg for the 1st, he won the pen he scored it and we won 3-0 job done. hattrick or 1000trick thats a useless stuff.
If helg wants a hattrick he should create goals for himself and score them end of story.
and helg pens are very predictable he got lucky with the previous ones.

          next!

As far as I was aware HH is the penalty taker.

Sure he has always taken them when he is on the pitch before.

Remember one game where AT won a pen in front of the Loft and HH took it.

I am sure HH is gutted he didn't get his hat-trick, he's put it a transfer request to leave in the summer.

I always thought Adel was penalty taker, but they had a rule that the person fouled for the penalty does not take it.

Its a bit different to Hall as hes a CB who'd never taken a penalty before and Helgusons penalties have been spot on all season. Was a bit selfish by Taarabt.

Don't think that's exactly moaning fella? Blimey, tough crowd... it's just an opinion, I don't post often and don't think I'll bother posting in the future if nobody values mine!

As for Taarabt being pen taker - is he though? Helgar's taken at least 3 that I can remember this year, been successful with all three.

The fact Fitz is a CB and not taken a penalty before has NOTHING to do with it!

Before a game the MGR states who the penalty kicker is...... that person must take the penalty, regardless if a hat trick is at the offering!

Was Taarabt selfish? well if he was the assign pen taker then NO..... if he he was not the assigned pen taker then YES, further more he would also be unprofessional.

We are a team, and we win, lose and draw together .... not about individuals its about results!
