Fulham virtually give tickets away though.

So do we.

Look how many promotions we ran last season.Worked out dearer to have a season ticket if you were a family.

Plus all the freebies to school's etc.

If we were not top of the table the same thing would be happening this season.

Im on Man Us database,always gettinh offered tickets there of them so i will be fine for the Prem.

I think you're right.
When we got promoted in 2004, the club sold 11k ST's (perhaps a few hundred more) and then stopped, as they weren't allowed to sell a bigger percentage than that.

Spot on,and i also remember back in our Prem days that although S/T were sold out,i never,ever had a problem getting a ticket for a game,see no reason why there should be any difference next season if we make it !!!!!!!

Its better to have a packed Loftus Road every game and let the waiting list grow for season tickets. ********s have had a waiting list for yonks till they got the new stadium same with Spuds and Chelski .

Think you under-estimate the premiership. I'm not saying 25,000 as thats a pretty close call regarding the big games, think maybe 22,000 though.

I remember fans said we would never take 7,000 to Manchester United away in the cup and guess what we did.

Too much comparing with the last time we were in the premiership and sales next season will go through the roof in the premiership, really do believe that.

Admittedly the likes of Bolton and Wigan games won't see anywhere near 22,000 and probably around 15,000, but a number of fans will return and others will be interested in premiership football.

We have 6 games left at home and we will definitely sell out for those, apart from the 2 that are on SKY. So if we can get 18,000 V Leicester sure as hell can get 22,000 V Chelsea

there will be an early bird for existing ST holders and Members at a slightly reduced rate then a free for all iwould think, ST holders will get first option on their seats obviously.

New ST holders will pay PL prices but as out STs are so high anyway im sure there wont be a massive hie otherwise it would be unrealistic.

It will be interesting to see how they handle kids STs.

This is all hypothetical as we havnt gone up yet and thee is loads to do stilln

I would love to stay at LR and watch amongst a full house every week, but that sort of volume of ticket sales wouldn't be sustainable in competing against other decent PL teams.

At the moment we don't fill our ground, but businesses should plan for the future, so that opportunities shouldn't be missed. I would be very surprised if the club don't have some loose plans of these nature.

Also, I don't see anyway that redeveloping the existing ground would work. It would take some kind of architectural miracle to increase capacity on our current plot while giving leg room that meets modern standards. If it was even possible, it would probably be similar in price to building a whole new stadium (hopefully on the soon to be partially vacant BBC site).

As we are only ever going to be able to increase our regular fanbase by so much, we need to be able to raise revenue in other ways. The location of the BBC site would be perfect to develop to incorporate a hotel, offices, conferencing facilities etc... as it is close to town, right near Westfield etc...

This would be a great long term investment for anyone with the money to do it - perhaps this is why Bernie has upped his stake? We need to use our location to our advantage to build more than just a football ground!

Good response though I do believe the necessary expansion could happen if planning consent was granted. There are ways of doing things, think how gradients of stands can be constructed to fulfil leg room requirements....it is possible. I'm talking about an extra 4/5000 on capacity not much more and to be honest I don't think we need it either.

The thing is I don't believe our owners will approach this with a view to the long term, if I'm totally honest I'm not sure we are really that great an investment.

Would be extremely useful when we have the like of Man U in town. If not, an away goal will be treated with a bigger roar than a home one.

Would be good to have home fans in the lower school end for every game. Trouble is, cos of the threat from objects thrown from the visiting fans above, the first 3 rows aren't used, as per the Ipswich game. That's 300 seats from 1000 not in use, at say £40 for a Prem game that's £12,000 a match lost. Can't see it happening, apart from the matches where the visiting fans aren't in big numbers.
