  • If/When We Get Promoted rush For Season tickets Will be Enormous

Will it be a free for all?

Or should the club do something for the fans who have managed to buy a season ticket in previous years?

Personally, I would freeze season ticket prices for supporters that have one this season and give a good rise on newbies.

    is it that simple?

We need to expand the ground and then we could keep the prices the same. If not, I could totally understand them increasing the prices. With 18k capacity our ticket sales are much less than other clubs so to compete we need to charge higher prices.

Yes your correct..first refusal for the die-hards and loyalty discounts. The rest pay thru the nose.

the only perk existing season ticket holders will get is first refusal on their seat imho.
prices will rise cos they have to, and they will be the same to everyone. i reckon the amount of season ticket holders will double tho.

Current season ticket holders should most definitely have the option to buy before anyone else, I would be disgusted if I couldn't get mine first having been a season ticket holder for ages

A smallish rise for people who have been STH for one year.
A freeze for anyone with more than one consecutive year as a STH.

              A hike for any newcomers.

That's fair, but don't expect it.

                did we do 8250 then?
                thought it was only 7k.
my bad, i meant we would do 14 for next season.

We have always had that length of time when ST holders can lay claim to their seat at an Early bird discount price (better some years than others), and it would be a shame if they chucked that system out of the window just in search of wealth and the Karen Brady corporate dream.

Next season imo should we go up we would be able to hit a target of 10,000 season ticket holders.. If we manage that i would assume we could then target 12,000...

I dont care what anyone says, QPR in the prem with a decent team capable of survival i have no doubt in my mind would mean a sell out at Loftus Road every week. Should we manage this and stay up next season then i think plans for a stadium expansion or a new ground all together will take the next step and actually be a realistic idea.

A sensible price structure will see this club grow again..

Thread is pretty much a statement of the obvious isn't it? It won't be a free for all will it - it isn#t at any other club I am aware of. There will be an early bird offer which will give you first dibs on your seat and possibly a 10% or whatever discount for those purchases but all against a new and raised price.

This is as predictable as the fact that everyone will moan about it and then buy them anyway

Wonder if we'll sell a lot of STs to folks who just wanna see the big games against likes of ManU etc but won't bother turning up againts Wigan etc? I s'pose non-attendance for certain games from ST holders has always gone on (wonder what the stats are?) but it'll surely get magnified if we go up.

if the club didn't limit ST sales we would never sell 16k. Not in a million years - stop deluding yourselves.
