At times I feel like I've been teleported across the Atlantic.
(Special mention for the luvvy duvvy couple who kept coming and going, and even stood up right at the front, and asked the steward to take their photo WHILE A CORNER WAS BEING TAKEN!!!, thus blocking people's view of said corner.)

Very hard to get any singing going there, even though me and Josie manfully try and join in with anyone else trying to start something.
A few of the R's made complete fools of themselves, did you see the blonde 'girl' who was giving all the signs to the Ipswich fans and then they chanted back "whose the slapper in the white" - I had to laugh

Did you also see the brave warrior in the green hoody who wanted to take on 1'400 Ipswich fans single handidly, it was such a shame that a fence, several stewards and the Suffolk Police were in his way to stop him taking the away end !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Heard the 'slapper' and 'hoodie' chants, had a rough idea of what might have provoked them!
Ipswich fans really put us to shame last night; they never stopped singing, even when they went 2-0 down, and were still singing and dancing to 'One Step Beyond' played at full time.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

There seemed to be alot of 'European' fans in their end, not sure if they we're Dutch, however they never stopped singing and having a good time - I still love the Dale Cavese chant !!!!

Sat in z block last night (lower school end in the corner by west paddock) and for the first time in over 32 years you could actually hear all sides of the ground. Q, P and R blocks sounded immense, X Block very quiet compared to usual, HU quite lively and A Block (despite the Moroccan and his horn and rattle) didin't stop signing all night.

There were 'quiet' periods during the game as usual but overall quite a good show. We'll never get all four sides singing together apart from 'Come on you R's' when we get a corner at the Loft end and of course 'We're the greatest team etc etc' come May 8th!

Too many fans in centre of ER and SAR who don't like singing, banter, etc but I guess thats a sign of the times and the changing face of football.
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

You should have been in X-Block, I've learnt new swear words from 10 year olds - I wasn't aware that all the Ipswich fans fathers killed prostitutes.

I can imagine.. and although I do cringe at some of the stuff that is chanted if football became too sanitised it would lose it's appeal for some I suppose..

True, but I like the way Ipswich fans got behind their team as oppose to shouting vitriolic abuse towards the opposing fans.

When we went to Reading away - they have a 12th man - ie: the Reading Fans listed in their programme - In X-block there was a posse of chav's who couldn't string a sentence together, unsure how our players can feed off their positive energy ????

Moved my st from T Block Ellerslie, too many moaners and no atmosphere.
Upper Loft is getting louder though.
                            They seek him here.................

There's an 'element' that share a brain cell in X Block and only really go there to bait the away fans rather than be there to support or even pay too much attention to the R's.. to some in there the football is very much a sideshow or by-product of their night's entertainment... far be it for me to tar everyone in X Block with the same brush but there do appear to be some buffoons in there...

X block is very mixed -- there's a small core of regulars and season ticket holders, including my dad and the others in the wheelchair brigade.
But, as you say, there's a group who go there and watch/goad the away fans for the whole match.
And then there's the ever-growing band of photo-taking tourists/newbies, who don't know when the game starts, how long the first half is, how long half-time is and don't always seem to realise that something's actually happening on the pitch...
