We, the fans can do more to get the team over the line. So, starting with the Leicester game - how do we get all 3 sides singing for the whole game, right from kick off?

broadly i agree with you, but there's absolutely no chance of me singing that ridiculous Torres takes it up the #### chant that turned up at Preston and last night.
why not start start singing about Drogba's got aids again whilst we're at it?RUN, MWEPU, RUN! CHARGE FORTH AND BOOT THAT BALL DOWNFIELD MY BOY, YOU MAGNIFICENT CHAMPION YOU!

The song is not relevant, and isn't supporting the team.
Positive songs about our team is all we need to hear, and the only way you will engage the WHOLE crowd!
Any suggestions from anywhere to how we can do this?
P.S. - we can't move the family stand, but what can WE the fans do to get the atmosphere going?

Great post, I don't know how to get all 3 sides singing but if we can it will be extremly effective.
Unless it's Danny $hittu, he'll just cry, kidding :-)Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
And many more mistakes
LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

As for getting people singing, I usually go in X-block, no problem with that here.........A message to the other Premier League clubs when they visit Loftus Road.....

Problem is the R block sings, the x block has periods when the crowd sing...but the middle section of Ellersie are quiet! A drum in the centre of Ellersie might make a difference. Now, Then, Forever[CENTER]QPR-Football League CHAMPIONS

Grandad in A block does his bit with his horn thing but usually gets flack from the away fans.
Perhaps the club could pipe sounds through the speakers just to get things going.I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

It's something worth trying perhaps? I am sure loads won't like the idea and say it's 'plastic', 'phoney' or just not cool, but it's not cool watching a game in silence is it?
How can we get this sort of thing on the club's agenda? Who would need to speak to who?

In the 30 plus years I've been attending LR....
there have hardly ever been many songs sung and from memory I can only think of a few.. TBH I can hardly understand the words to a lot of the songs that are sung anyway...
Some are just plain silly and ones with lots of swearing are not really apt for the 21st Century are they.. I didn't think the atmosphere was that dreadful last night but lets be honest the first half performance was hardly much to sing about was it....

Having said that I couldn't hear anything being sung from other parts of the ground (incl: Q, P & R block), apart from when everyone was singing; "Come on you R's" and the "we're top of the league" after we scored (which was very impressive). The Ipswich fans did not stop singing all game, however I'd imagine the loft could not hear them as the sound does not travel well within the ground.
Everyone who wants to sing should agree to sit in one place; ala: A-block in the South Africa Road stand. (incl: of Pete and his drum)
My opinion anyway
You R's

X block at the front is rapidly turning into the ####ee Doodle Dandy, up and down like a #####'s drawers, block at the front...
At times I feel like I've been teleported across the Atlantic.
(Special mention for the luvvy duvvy couple who kept coming and going, and even stood up right at the front, and asked the steward to take their photo WHILE A CORNER WAS BEING TAKEN!!!, thus blocking people's view of said corner.)
Very hard to get any singing going there, even though me and Josie manfully try and join in with anyone else trying to start something.Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########
