Just don't think you can use what a player was like during a brief loan three years ago. Irrelevant. Bale looked rubbish when he played against us for Southampton I seem to remember, but he's done alright. You can't knock Sinclair's scoring or assist record. You could have said Tabs wasn't massively convincing when he was on loan to us but he's done OK. That said the player I'd be more interested in signing on last night's evidence is a fit Jimmy Bullard.
