  • How much do the fans want it ?

Ipswich Town always bring strong support with them and that will almost certainly the case this coming Tuesday, particularly, given their recent pickup in form of late.

As ever, too many of our fans appear to be focusing on what we have not been doing right over the past few games whilst failing to take note of what we have done well for a far larger number of games this season.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I am not going to sit here and try and tell you that one point at Preston is a great result, however, I fear some are feeling so sorry for themselves that they will turn up at Tuesday night's game waiting to be proved right. "We should have bought strikers, we should have done this etc", sitting there waiting for the slightest mistake by Hulse or god forbid, a defeat, to say I told you so.

If you turn up at the ground with that mindset we will lose.

Ipswich are a different team to the one we played earlier in the season. Their fans will be fully behind them.

If you want to see QPR get promoted I suggest you put your short term concerns to the side, turn up at the ground full of confidence and let the players know that you are behind them.

We can gain promotion by winning our home games and drawing our away ones. We are capable of winning every home game so let's play our part. We, the fans, are off form at the moment. Let's make sure that OUR form returns on Tuesday night and not just that of the players.

    Come on You R's

Connors I admire your positivity but to be honest, my mindset will not have any effect as Hulse controls another ball off his shin, and scuffs another shot out for a throw in.

I should add that the number of teams coming to our ground and doing the "sssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh" routine is getting a bit embarrassing.

Jeffro, if you are not naturally positive with your team five points clear in the league i am not quite sure you will ever be.

Other clubs would love to be in our position,

I have just been here before mate, and dunno If Warnock will make the required changes. Read SM report , Gorrks needs a rest as does Orr and even Connolly. Rangers will last this out and make us all sweat no doubt.

Another thread based on those nasty fans but you need to understand, those nasty fans respond to the players getting stuck in and doing well. Also the club ruined years of acoustics with their bronze, silver and Gold pricing.

No doubt they will make us sweat it out. They always do.

Warnock has suggested in his recent comments that he was re-assessing the centre back pairings so maybe he will make a change.

We are difficult to beat and that is the key.

To be honest I don't believe for one minute the negative fans on here are representative of our fan base at present and we must remember that. You speak to the average Rangers fan in the street and they are absolutely buzzing at present. Maybe the problem is we've a lot of negative supporters who aren't local on here and their only communication with other Rangers fans is on the net unless they make it to a match.

If we do get promoted this season I hope those negative fans take a long hard look at themselves and some of the rubbish they have posted and realise how *****ic they have come across at times.

I would hate to see how you react when things ain't going well.

At home is where we have our biggest chance to get behind our team. We have 7 FA Cup finals. Pretend you are watch the inferior players we watched in the division two semis all those years ago. We cheered those boys on superbly that night and they did the job.

Conners, unlike the mouth pieces on here who don't go, I do and have done for 35 years and I know what is good and what us bad and I really can't take people like you telling me what I should or should not do.

I posted something yesterday about goals. Would suspect that we will be relying on Adel, Routledge, Helguson and Akos for those. They are the same players we have relied on all season.

Remember it is a combination of scoring and not letting any in that counts and somewhere along the line we have got that right this season.

As I said, the truth does not matter as long as it is positive.

Just ignore it if you don't like it.

We are not always a pretty team to watch, yet we are effective.

We have Scored an average of 0.9 goals per game over the last ten games and have not conceded many, so the problem is not at the back, it is the final third that needs changing.
