  • time to shake things up

Come Mr W time to shake things up. Bradley Orr has struggled for a while now and Gorks is getting caught out time and again.

Whats the point in bringing in premiership quality in Chimbomba and Shittu and not playing them.

We are close to pulling off something special but Warnock could also lose it for us if he sticks to this team.
It does not hurt to shake things up and players get complacent if they keep getting played whatever the performance level they put in.

Does that mean it cant be changed. He is struggling and it needs changing.

Not sure the back 4 is where it needs changing. Just not scoring goals which means every goal we concede (not many) is costing us points

the distribution from the back 4 is poor, they need to set up the play. warnock will not change the midfield and we have not had a descent striker all year.

Think we need to tweak the way we work -- other teams are clearly able to predict us too well now.
Also, we need Kenny to roll or throw from the back, as the constant kicking upfield lost us possession too often yesterday, setting Preston on the attack several times.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

I'd be tempted to shake things up if we fell out of the top 2 but wouldn't rock the boat until this point as this is the system which has had us in the top 2 all season.

Defence is NOT the problem. Best defence in the league. The problem is further up the pitch. We don't create enough chances and not scoring enough at the moment.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Without jumping on the bandwagon I feel part of the problem has been playing Hulse, far too static IMO. Would much prefer to see Miller playing off the last man with the ball being worked from deep utilising Millers pace to stretch the opposition. Part of the problem at times is expecting the target man always to hold the ball up, would be nice to see some through balls for the him to latch onto instead.
