  • Are 80 points enough for an auto place?

Only my opinion, but that's what I think we'll finish on unless we can get in a loan striker ala Phillips or Lita.My predictions as follows.

    Ipswich H.....D...1pt
    M'boro A .....L...0
    Leicester H......D...1
    Millwall A......D...1
    C.Palace H......W..3
    Doncaster A......D...1
    Sheff.Utd H......W..3
    Scunny A......L...0
    Barnsley A......D..1
    Derby H......W..3
    Cardiff A......L...0
    Hull H......W..3
    Watford A......D...1
    Leeds H......D...1

A total of 19pts making 80 for the season, would this be enough??

PS- that's assuming we lose just 3 of the last 14 which given we've lost just 3 all season,it shouldn't be any more than that even though we are starting to wobble a bit.

dont think that will be enough. but i do seem to agree with you on all the results youve predicted. (apart from scunny a draw)
lets hope and pray we are wrong.

I don't think 80 will be enough, I think 84 is the minmum required, which means a combination of say 7 wins 2 draws and 5 defeats or perhaps more realistically 6 wins 5 draws and 3 defeats.

You can tie yourself up in knots with this, but I think that we can get up with what will be a below average total.

      Fasten your seat belts!

80 will be dodgy. Thing is, we should know what's needed going into last 4 or so games and that'll make a big difference to things all round.

We'll finish 2nd on 85 points just you wait and see!!

IMO we will only get 2 points from the next 9, then 18 from the next 7 and four from the last 4 games. Promotion secured at home to Hull bank holiday Monday!
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

80 points WON'T get us automatic promotion,no chance but even in my negative ways I think we will get more than 80 points, maybe 83-84 points, will that be enough,I don't know

No, top six and bottle it in the play-offs.
Can't now see any other outcome.

Have to agree that current form, plus other teams gaining on us,makes this look incresingly likely.
