Adel currently has the most goals as well as the most assist's of any player in our squad. And if we had a decent striker he would have alot more assist's as well.

We are simply lacking someone to put the ball in the net.

And if Adel is having an off day we have had nobody else to create those chances for Hulse and Miller to miss.Hopefully Buzz can make a difference now.

AT is a dilemma player -- because you know he can have a poor game yet still have two minutes of brilliance which lead to assists or goals.
What was noticeable yesterday was, there were at least three occasions in the first half where AT made Preston look stupid (left Ashbee on his backside on one of them) and some of our players stood there watching and APPLAUDED him!
Someone needs to tell them they should be running into position and supporting him, not acting like us fans in the stands!!!
There are too many times when players don't move into a position to support him, and I think that's part of the problem -- he never knows if there going to be someone there to pass to, and is often unaware when there is.

What is beyond doubt is that, if you take away his assists and goals, we wouldn't even be top 6.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

I think the way to get us going again is to get him more involved

Interesting quote in Mirror today from Warnock (whom I trust most than most on this or any messageboard !)

QPR boss Neil Warnock explained: “Taarabt knows what the other players think of him when he doesn’t play them in, but we also know what we do get from him and his contribution today was immense.

He is not going to tackle...we have Faurlin and Derry for that

he ain't got to win headers, we are supposed to haev Hulse and helguson for that.

What he gives are winning match performances.

without him we would have drawn against Cardiff, drawn against Coventry (with the world class ball he plays to Routledge), thats 4 points for starters and other games he has won for us.

I don't think so, that would be taking out your offensive weapon and playing with blanks. Adel is too important to sit down. I hope Buzz can be an impact sub, though...
