  • ALll you postive 'we are still top' mob make me vomit

we need this promotion more than anything now. our wage bill is massive and we have a brillaint manager and board, but how long for?
if we dont go up they could pull out and we could be totally screwed.
if i and others want to be a bit worried cos we cant beat or get more than one shot on target against the shite of the division who lose at home every week then thats what we are going to do.
we are going backwards in our performances and its obvious the lack of goals is making us draw so many games.
we are not clinical, we do not finish teams off even when we are on top of the game.
if we carry this form on, we will not make the autoomatics, we will be play off and we all know we wont win them cos we are qpr.
five points clear and top all season is brillaint, yes we all know that, but it will count for nothing if we dont go up.
and the form and the way we are now playing will not get us promoted, we need to up our game and maybe get a proven scorer in on loan.
lita and earnshaw scored the winners for their clubs yesterday by the way.

if you dont care about promotion, then carry on, but dont dare have a pop at people who do eh.

Our average goals per game over the last 10 games is 0.9 which is a joke.

Well the reaction of fans to poor perfomances wind a lot of other fans up, it just seems impossible for supporters to get behind the lads 100% for 14/15 or so matches as we push for the promotion. So often fans look for negatives in performances, we've lost 3/32 matches all season.

Exactly the same things were being said in November when we started drawing too many matches and once again at the start of January when we lost 3 games in a short space of time and here we go again. Someone started a thread yesterday about familar patterns in performances but all I can see is a familiar patterns exhibited by our supporters when we go a couple of matches without winning.

What is positive of having an average goal scoring record of 0.9 per game over the last 10 games. I would love to see how someone can sprinkle pixi dust on the only stat that matters.

When we do go up, will you all come back and apologise for moaning like a bunch of spoiled Chelsea fans?

                      nope.
we are voicing fears, not moaning.
if i was to be my true self and what im used to, i would say 'we will screw this up and lose in the play offs, probably first leg'
but im not, ive said all along since the end of last season that we will go up, and im sticking to that.
but the true rangers blood in me is telling me that we will fu ck this up and break all our hearts yet AGAIN.
i think its just part of being a rangers fan, its all about sado machism, you know your gonna get proper hurt but you still like it.
so im ready for that pain, my arris is waiting for the paddle across it.

I'll be desperately upset, no doubt.

But I'll deal with that if it happens. For now, we are in a position that none of us dreamed of at the start of the season. I dont see the point in moaning on here when the fact is, we are top, we are 5 points clear. The way some people go on, you'd think we were about to get relegated.

General you have a point and football fans always massively over-react to one match, good or bad; "fan" is afterall short for "fanatic".

The positive brigade will point to 8 games unbeaten, the negative to 0.9 goals a game scored.

Much will depend on the result against Ipswich - grind out a win and we are still looking good, but another failure to win and the players as well as the supporters will start to doubt.

Where I do disagree with you general is that this team has had a structural flaw since Paul Furlong departed and the reason many fans are what you would term negative is because they have been hoping against hope this season that this lack of firepower up front would not be exposed. Thanks to a couple of performers playing out of their skin - tabs obviously, mackie early on, then smith and occasionally routs - we have got away with it. The fear - understandable imo - is that we might not get away with it for very much longer.

So will I be, but no matter how many times you say to yourself things are OK, it does not mean they are. I laugh at Chelsea fans in the pub who trot ******** like that out.

Look at it this way..I would rather be in QPR's boots and drawn against a bottom team then Forest's who LOST against a bottom team.
We need all of us to back QPR on Tuesday and thats for win, draw or even lose !
