Towards the end of last season, I posted who I thought NW would bring in and ship out with a 'then' rumoured budget of £10m + £1m in combined fees for outgoing players.
Now, we all know nothing like that amount was spent in the end, probably less than half of it. But boy was I wrong, only 1 arrived and all were strong rumours at one point or another.
OUT, 9 - Helguson, Hall, Agyemang, Pellicori, Borrowdale, Alberti, Quashie, Vine & Mahon
IN, 11 - Tosic, Taarabt, Simpson, Speroni, Clynne, Danns, Ambrose, Montgomery, St. Ledger, Hooper, Henderson
1st Team squad was -
Speroni, Cerny, Putnins
Clynne, Leigertwood, St. Ledger, Ramage, Gorkks, Stewart, Connolly, Tosic.
Ambrose, Rowlands, Danns, Montgomery, Faurlin, Buzsaky, Cook, Ephraim.
Taarabt, Henderson, Hooper, Simpson, German, Balanta.
Only 6 regulars out of 25.
Putnins, Legs, Ramage, Rowlands, Buzsaky, Cook, German & Balanta have all spent much of the season injured or on loan.
