QPR players have been told they will be fined £250 every time they pass to Adel Taarabt in their own half.

This comes from a comment Warnock made on Talk Sport before Christmas. He does the Sunday show with Brazil and Alan asked him a question about Adel to which NW replied - honestly I've told my players not to let him have the ball in our own hald and I'm going to start fining them if they do it.

It was said in a light hearted way and with a chuckle - so I think it was just a northern sense of humour type thing - but who really knows.
