what game did people see yesterday?

faurlin for me had a decent game, was only one after smith went off who had something to offer going forward.

connolly for me didnt have an amazing game but was much much better than gorkks who for me should be dropped next week. give shittu a try.. why else did we sign him. forget all this "hoof ball" claims.. but gorkks is just too slow and yesterday for first time ever i dont recall him winning a header.

surprised at our tactics 2nd half. would have gone 4-4-2 against 10men. routs wide right, adel left and just go at forest.

i know there are a few who believe connolly had a mare.. i wouldnt say he played amazing but he was assuring. chimbonda should have came on for orr, orr offered nothing going forward, time and time again miller was waiting for the overlap but it never came. if forest had 11men id understand.

aside all that we wasnt at our best and for me forest was very negative even at 10men. i mean at reading we was the better side with 10men.

felt like a loss afterwards considering the sending off and them getting a lucky goal. did kenny actually make a save?

Agree, we should have gone 442 after the sending off! Not doing so was a HUGE mistake from Warnock.
Nuff said.

What did the defence exactly do wrong? Give a free kick 45 yards from goal which normally would come to nothing.

Certainly agree that Gorks wasn't his best but didn't let us down and neither did Connolly.

God help me if Shittu comes into the side. We can say goodbye to the football we all like watching.

i dont want to get flamed, but i didnt see a great game from us yesterday.
that was more a performance of last season, or seasons previous.
no threat from us really and just happy not to lose.

Thought we got closed down way to quickly. Orr just doesn't do it for me sorry. Back 4 were ok but don't look as confident in themselves as usual.

We just didn't click yesterday. At the end of the day a poxy goal took 2 points off of our tally, if it wasn't for that we'd be saying it was a good scrappy win. My only issue is up front we look weaker than a natts p!ss.

I thought Faurlin had a poor 1st Half looked off pace & some bad 1st touches, got better 2ND half and missed him whe he went off with 10mins left thought he might just have opened them up as they got tired. also paddy didn't make a save nor did Camp have to make a save all through the 2nd half and our only real chance was Orr's header cleared off the line

We had one saved off the line as did they. That is the problem. We created bugger all against 10 men for 75 minutes. After they went down to 10 men we seemed to run out of ideas. They closed us down quickly and defended well. We continued to play one up front.

As others have said yes Miller looked fine on the wing but he is a big brute with decent touch and should have been up front with Hulse or someone else and Adel and Routledge should have been launching cross after cross into the box for them to attack. Whatever people think of Hulse playing him alone up front against a defence of that quality was never going to produce much. Forest must have thought Christmas had come very early with our tactics.

Agree with pretty much all of that. Will say though I'm delighted with 4 points off Reading and Forest just kind of wish the results were the other way around!
