  • Bottom line is we are too predictable

Take nothing away from Forest a great defensive display particularly Chambers but have been thinking for last couple of months we have not looked anywhere near as dangerous. Other teams have sussed us out.

If you shut out Adel, and now Routledge, we have nothing much else to offer. Playing one up front against 10 men was lunacy. We were never going to break Forest down that way.

We are relying almost entirely on moments of magic from Adel and to a lesser extent Routledge. If that doesn't happen we have nothing left to fall back on. Therein lies the problem and maybe why Spurs let Adel go. To get the best out of him you have to build a team around him and let him do his own thing. None of the big boys will do that. Even Christiano Ronaldo had a defined role at Manure.

We lack balance as a team. We may well scrape through with Adel's moments of magic but in my view need some flexibility during games and that could be achieved by Adel taking on a more defined role for parts of games whether that be strictly on the left wing, as opposed to generally wandering around in that area, or as a proper second striker. This season has shown he can score goals with decent frequency.

From Adel's viewpoint if he showed he could work in a disciplined role within defined roles as well as doing his maverick bit he would not be looked on as a risky but tempting signing by the big boys but as a must have.

You must be watching a completely different team

We dont just have Tarrabt and Routledge doing the work

If you watched the last few games you would have seen Faurlin playing better then both of them and Smith is a class player

We have the most balanced team in the Championship and if we was not balanced we would not be top

Dale agree that Tommy Smith is a class act and when he went off we missed his invention, but to rave about Faurlin yesterday, I think it must of been you watching a different game. Good player on his day but yesterday was just not his day.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Faurlin supplied a great pass to Smith to score the goal

See Faurlin working hard to get into space to get the ball and when he got it passed it about well

I am talking in an attacking sense. Am a massive fan of Faurlin, fantastic signing. Smith is a good technical player. Defensively we are very sound.

Talking objectively we are a solid team with some real flair players but lack a cutting edge.

There are lots of positives and we will get some results. All I am saying is that now teams have got used to us we are not going to roll over them and could do with some more flexibility in the way we play so we can unbalance the opposition.

Of course someone who can kick the round thing between the stick things would be a mahusive help.

As far as I´m concerned(and based on the televised games I have seen), I would have liked us to have that "fox in box" available as an option at least.
In my view,Tommy Smith suits that description, and he is already in our squad! I guess he drifts inn and out of positions quite well, but why not play him up front in a 4-4-2 setup when things "crash". like yesterday.

Otherwize, some well thought comments on Adel from you Fugitive fox!
But I have to say that Forest on the day showed great team spirit and outbattled us all over the place.

NW has designed a system to accommodate Taarabt which has worked brilliantly on many occasions, but away at Hull and yesterday, it did not and maybe hindered the team. For different reasons, Hull (they were crap) and Forest (had 10 men and were crap after), Taarabt should have been taken off at half time or fitted into a 4-4-2 approach, to go for the win.

The simple fact that forest players were wiping Taarabt's shirt on their battie holes after the game, kinda proves he done nothing of note in yesterdays game and I am delighted we are top, but we should have 4 pts more.

I would have played this in the 2nd half
              ------------- Kenny -------------
              Orr - Connolley - Gorkks - Hill
Routledge - Derry - Faurlin - PVM or Taarabt

I dnt know which match you have watched ? I just watched the game for the 3rd time, forest is a good team, hulse is not the striker who can score, adel is the heart and the brain of QPR, if it was another striker with him he would have 3 assists at least although they man marked him and abusing him he delivered a great passes and crosses to hulse and a saved headed ball from net in the corner. you easily forgot how many times he saved us... 14 golas and 12 assists thats load of points, imagine we have a proper striker, Adel would be over 25 assists by now. check QPR player and rewatch the highlights to see those things. Warnock is not nice with Adel because of his beautiful eyes! he knows that he is his Jesus saviour.

SO you would take off Adel Taarabt , yet still play 4 defenders against 1 forward...

This is what I would have done.

                              kenny

                              connors shittu hill

                              Routledge Derry faurlin Moen

                              Taraabt
                              Miller and helguson.

Why hulse stayed on was a strange one and we need 2 centre forwards in the middle, couldn't work out where routledge was suppose to be playing when miller moved to right wing.

Shittu would of been useful for set pieces.
