    Interested in fans opinions here:

Q - Are you happy with the continued displays and worrying moments provided Connolly and Gorrks or do you think Shittu needs to replace one of them.
Basically does their previous "clean sheet form" warrant their place in the side, despite looking shaky against pretty much all strikers we face, including the awful Mcgoldrick today?

I'm not sure what effect Connolly and Gorks have on opposition strikers, but they sure scare the hell out of me !!!!

Personally I have little faith in the pair of them. I rate Conners slightly better. Probably sound like idiots considering our defensive record this season but I think they have got very lucky at times & PK has saved their ####'s on many occasions.

I would like Sh!ttu in to toughen up the back 4 but I'd struggle to know who to drop out of the pair of them.

      Sorry personal opinion.

Agree Ric, I find myself sounding a bit silly considering our record , but i think its also down to Kenny and Derry.
Every match I find myself worrying when they have the ball and face a striker of whatever size.

Looks like Neil Warnock agrees with us to based on his after match comments.

If we do get promoted, we certainly couldn't go into every game with those two as first choice centre halfs.
Centre half, definately a position that would need strengthening come the summer.

I would like Miller to start instead of the journeyman Hulse.

Mabe the next match is a good one to blood both Danny and Chimbo just to see how they do.

One of the reasons the 'goals conceded' number is so low could be due to us playing 2 defensive midfielders in Derry and Faurlin in front of the CB's, and not directly due to Gorksy and Connors.

I still think they are both very good in the air, hold a good line, obviously have an understanding, so I wouldn't change it personally. No such thing as the perfect centre back, and I think they do OK, but they do make errors same as Terry, Ferdinand do sometimes.

Lack of pace is the one area where they will be found out in the premiership when we get there. NW blamed them, but was deflecting attention away from his poor sub decisions imo.

I am just concerned that NW will not change the system, even when it is not working.

You have to pick your players on form and due to Gorrks and Connors struggling against a side that played Mcgoldrick as a lone striker I was very disappointed in both our centre backs. Connors struggles in the air and tends to climb on the attackers back. He gave silly free kicks away and Gorkks for me has looked clumsey and prone to mistakes. I would change both as I don't agree with those that say its gorrks fault or vice versa.

Shittu by the sounds of it played well for millwall and he deserves a start, if his fitness has looked decent in training.

I do also worry about there lack of pace and although I wouldn't say shittu is quick he would win the balls in the air and not miss it for strikers to chase onto.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

If it ain't broke then don't fix it, as it stands we are six points clear at the top and IMO cruising.
People will say forest had ten men but the form team in the lg barely a threat.
Looked at the stats when I got home and we were well on top.
Jeffro respect you as a poster but think it's a bit of a knee jerk reaction after a good point against a very good team

Been saying for most of the season conners is not good enough when his centre back partner is not fast enough to cover....both looked rather dodgy today along with a few other's.
                        They seek him here.................

But Moon I am basing this on numerous games , if we didnt have Kenny in goal, many of the errors arent punishing us. only a matter of time till they do..
Obviously Neil agrees because I cant remember the last time i saw a centre half dragged whilst a game was being drawn and no injury to him!!

But mate that's what good keepers do, we just havnt had one that good in such a long time it shows.
For once in our lives we have players like smith, routs, tarbs, faurlin and kenny who are top of tree in this lg and that's a spine of a good team.
                            No need for change imo

Niel took Gorks off cos he wanted more pace down the wings to try for a goal not cos Gorks was off form !
