NEIL WARNOCK escaped the pressures of QPR's promotion bid and maverick midfielder Adel Taarabt's tantrums with a well-earned break.
Boss Warnock got some R&R ahead of his side's top-of-the-table clash with Nottingham Forest tomorrow.
Rangers' former Tottenham ace Taarabt, 21, recently linked himself with a move to Manchester United after scoring 14 league goals.
And Warnock said: "I've been in Cornwall in the lovely fishing village of Looe.
"You need to switch off at times and I have always gone to Cornwall to enjoy myself and wind down.
"Adel has been away which has been a blessing for us all... we like him going away.
"He once said to me 'when do you want me to come in, Tuesday?' I said 'no' and he got stroppy because he thought I wanted him in on Monday but I didn't want him back until Thursday."
Stroppy Taarabt demanded to be subbed against Hull in January when things were not going his way.
