i think we do feel sorry for them but i agree with facto that they do have a small group who will stand there ground,so respect has to be given to those chosen few

Thamesbank End? Hammersmith or Putney End? Or was this before the Eric Miller Stand went up and there was the open banking?

Nodge70 am sure it was called The Thamesbank End - anyway when ever we went there we made it ours....would rock to the chimes of "Those were the day's my friend, we thought they'd never end etc etc....we are The Loft oh yes The mighy Loft" ! ! and you're right mate it was before they built that stand along The Thames.

I remember the same season when it went off at Fulham when the return match was played at LR I went with a West Ham supporting mate of mine and as we reached the junction of Ellerslie and Loftus Rd we heard a lot of noise coming from further down LR. As they got closer we realised that low and behold it was Fulham's firm, about 30 of them tops all singing and larging it, wrapped up by about 50 old bill.

It really was a sad sight and my mate was creasing up and abusing them as they walked past.
