Just been doing some figures on how many points on average we need to get promoted based on the last 6 seasons. The teams average that finishes 3rd is 80.6 pts, so based on that anything above 80 will get us promoted.

you counted only the lower limit.. how bout the upper limit mate! its a huge gap
