  • Routledge, We must buy

For me Routy is a must keep when the loan runs out.
He has been fantastic in the few games for us and the goals he scored, we would have never scored.
For me he is on par with Tarbs on skill and his off ball running into space to recive the ball is second to none.
The more I watch him the more in awe of him I am.
It would be a fantastic buy for the Prem League.

I agree with everything but that, he is nowhere near taarabt in terms of skill. Nobody in this league is.

I read that we have an agreement to buy Routs for £2m should we go up.

If its been agreed & is in writing which of course it is they cannot adjust agreed price. That's what contracts are for.

                  I disagree.
he has been great for us so far and is undoubtedly quality at championship level but he has failed to prove himself at Premiership level. if we have any intention of staying up in the premiership we will need to buy better than Routledge.

Squad player only at Premiership level.

He's never had a proper crack at the premiership. At tottenham he was understudy to lennon, at villa he was forced out of the side by milner and he wasnt exactly doing bad at newcastle before he was loaned out.

Routs isn't in Alan Pardews plans, so it all looks good for a perm deal at the end of the season, U R'SSS
                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

"he wasnt exactly doing bad at newcastle before he was loaned out."

he failed to impress, if he was doing well he would not have been loaned out. you need to have a bit more about you at premiership level and he has failed to demonstrate that.

would be delighted to be proved wrong but ...
