  • Our forwards have only scored 3 goals from open play all season??

And we're top of the league. Makes no sense.

    1. Helguson (volley goal)

    2. Helguson (at Palace - header)

    3. Hulse (tap in on the line)

    Very strange.
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

Thankfully we have good players in midfield who do their job for them,Hulse has been extremely disappointing ,he has done well everywhere else he has been while HH has never scored many for us

Its because we dont play with a single striker.

      Its a fluid 4-2-4 system.

We play with 4 strikers, 2 defensive mids, and a back 4. Unconventional I know, but Taarabt, Routledge, Mackie (pre-injury), Smith are actually strikers in this system, albeit slightly withdrawn ones in their starting positions.

Adel is the 2nd highest scorer in the league with 14. Wayne, brought in to replace Jamie's goals is already on 2. Looks like its only a matter of time before Miller breaks his duck too. HH is on 6, Smith is on 4. Mackie 9.

Makes better reading then, doesnt it.

I'd say Mackie and Tarabbt are forwards...

We've had a class midfield for ages now so it's okay I guess.

When Miller gets his first goal, he will bang in loads more, don't worry.
          Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
          And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO
