  • Ray Wilkins

Has given his thoughts on our season and he is delighted with where we are.

What are you feelings about Ray Wilkins.

From a playing prespective always thought he was one of the best midfielders we've had at the club and his hands were tied with the financial difficulties we faced.

Okay will always be remembered for bringing in crap players after the sell of Les Ferdinand.

What are your views of Wilkins?

Absolutely superb footballer for QPR and loved watching him play. Seems a decent enough fella.

We won't go into his managerial skills.

        Smashing. Tremendous. ******.

He not only acquiesced to the selling of Ferdinand (which any mug punter could see would relegate us so more fool him as it tarnished his own rep) but he became senior apologist about it and chief excuser for the then Board. Then he spent what he was allowed to v v badly (and let's not forget on mates of his at the end of their careers) and then ****ed off like nothing had happened.

*****. He was never much cop at kicking the ball either and when we had him he was past whatever peak he had had. To say he was one of the better midfielders at LR is total nonsense.

I always wondering if he'd picked up the nick name of crab coz he was a ****ig irritating crawly little ****a that would go up anyone's #### that would have him. The "passes sideways" thing was an excuse to make it airable on telly imo.

could have been a Rangers legend, but his persistance of playing himself at the expense of younger players, £1,000,000 Osborne for instance, his farcical activities in the transfer market, in my opinion nearly finished this club and sent us into the wilderness for 15 years will never be forgotten or forgiven
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble

I really wonder what Wilkins you watched because the one i watched from 90-93 was simply outstanding.
I remember even talk of an England Recall.
FUnny how our Top London club finish was with Wilkins in the side.

"Not much Kop at kicking the ball" --- Yes, Im sure AC Milan, MAnchester Utd and Glasgow Rangers thougt that...

                Ridiculous statement.

jeffro is right, great player but dreadful manager. Won't forgive him for waisting money on some really shocking players from the Sir Les transfer.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I've wondered about your judgement on players watching your comments on here for a while now. And this confirms you seem to go for names and public opinion rather than your own and if this is your own then oh dear. Yes, I am absolutely coinfident AC Milan thought he was shite, Man U was never about him but those were dog days for the team and then Glasgow Rangers and then us got the even shittier end of the stick so if you are trying to tell me he was a Rangers legend you can go **** in the wind mate., He was never very good, shocking amount of caps he got as well

                        Shite

You have to be having a laugh. His coaching skills are evidenced how exactly? Please don't tell me Chelsea. Please.

His judgement also produces gems (well they costs as much) as Hately
