  • QPR to be sold if we go up?

Paul Finney on INDYRS has just posted that he has heard that if we go up we will be sold to new owners

Must admit I cant see why as surely that is where the riches are for those who own the club so why sell it but I guess Finney has an impeccable source

          changed the letter "T"

He must know more than the current owners, thats all I can say.

To be fair I think Finney is correct.

The mittals aren't interested and Amit just likes to talk big.

I think once premiership wages are mentioned, amit will lose his play toy and Bernie who we now know is the owner will also sell for a profit .
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

cant say im surprised at this. i mean after the **** n bull story we got from amit about briatore taking a back seat and whatnot. i had this same chat with a friend on tuesday night.. asking what do you think bernie will do with the club once we get in prem?

well for me its clear what he'll do.. he'll try make bit of profit. an 80 year old business man who supports chelsea and hasnt 'bought' his way through this league makes me believe he will sell it. remember his bread n butter is F1 not QPR.

for me i think we've got to hope the right people buy us from bernie n co as its now unlikely we will ever spend "big" even with promotion.

To be honest, would anyone really care if they sold up or not as long as it was not a case of frying pan and fire etc

Makes perfect sense to me to sell the club as soon as we are promoted as its the only time the owners of QPR stand to make a profit from the club.

Promotion will clear all debts, the club will be holding a number of assets, at the point of sale we will be in the black with the bright lights of the Premier League waiting for a new potential owner. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to work out there no money to be made in football by comparison to other industries. If this did happen you'd bet they'd sell Taarabt first.

What worries me is if we don't get promoted, QPR FC might not own their ground if Amit and Flavio refuse to extend the loan for another year.

with the s*** in n. africa likely to spread to the oil rich gulf states I expect a lot of spon dooley coming to these shores, with it a sheikh seeing an investment in little old qpr a shrewd move
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
