never seen that or knew neil had said it either.
i reckon adels so immature and fiesty and flawed by his genius, that he knew they were there, and the pressure of that added with him or us not having a great game made him blow up into a full on loony toon mode.
remember gazza in that cup final against forest, that sort of 'head gone' with the pressure if you know what i mean and i can compare it with anything.

When I saw Warnock say this the other day I presumed it was tongue in cheek but reading it you get the impression he was serious. Does anyone know for fact Man Utd scouts were at the game or was it just NW being silly?

Manure scouts were there watching. I believe deep down Adel wanted to show them he wasn't happy here so they would make bid for him with him likely to put in a transfer request. For now I'm glad it didn't happen, I mean i really don't want him in the prem with us I'd rather cash in on him say 10-15 mil and buy some decent strikers and full backs.
Queens Park Rangers, simply the best.

I just hope that if he does not try to hard to rectify it tomorrow night on Sky.

Press on this occasion took those comments out of context.

It was definitely tongue in cheek moment from Neil Warnock

Of course the Man U comments are tongue in cheek. Couldn't be anything else. The Evening Standard (not my favourite paper but hey) reported more of his comments (obviously made at the same time) about Adel having let himself down and realising he had disappointed people etc which I think were more serious.

He was never going to Man U ffs and I could guarantee they have no interest in him whatsoever. I do not have to be itk to be able to say that with total, 100%, nailed on, on the bus, confidence : Ipso facto QED this Man U stuff is total tosh.
