I wondered how important it is to have experience with our current position?
The knowledge of fighting for a promotion place is something our players don't have, so the club and fans are bound to be a bit jittery with this current position. It's not currently going as well as early season form, and imo it's very probably down to nerves and expectation. We are up there to be shot at, and currently doing well to stay ahead.
Cardiff and Nottm Forest were up at the top end challenging for promotion last year, plus Leeds were holding on to winning in Div1, so they all have experience of a promo fight, and we don't.
Confidence is a major thing in football, and we need a couple of consecutive few wins helps to boost this, preferably starting at Reading on friday.
The area that does benefit us is Neil Warnock, who has experienced promotion six times, but can he pass this experience on to the players?
