Spencer, as I have said before, I judge a fair price based upon:
a) The league I am about to see my team play in
b) The costs of playing in that league
c) The average attendance we are likely to get
d) divide b by c
e) we are trying to breakeven without being bankrolled.
Would happily pay £1000 tomorrow if there was a guarantee of promotion. Am desperate to see QPR back in the Premiership.
I think QPR will struggle at Championship level with out someone like Briatore at the helm.

again sorry for being simple but why are 10-12 teams currently in the premiership season tickets cheaper than ours, why are we the most expensive in the championship when only the 11th best in the championship?? why waste money on extra long contracts who arent good enough for where we want to be, that doesnt help the club break evev, why give 140,000 pounds interest free loans, why employ dowie and pay him off to the tune of a milllion pounds, why whywhy??? these massive errors can take place but if anyone dares to question the value of a season ticket are told to **** off!! beggars belief only QPRFrom the Hills of Kerry

The 10-12 premiership teams have the beneift of £60 Mil per season. As for the most expensive in the Championship, imagine how much the other small ones must be losing.
I see ourselves a similar model to all three clubs that have just been relegated, probably smaller.
We are a small club, playing in a big league.
Similar expenses to the other clubs, but less fans to get the mony from.

We finished 11th, the reason why we sold more last season is that fans really believed we would finish higher.
The perception for next season at the moment is that we will finish around mid-table, so it becomes no value for money.
AGree, the prices went up far too quickly, but its a catch 22 situation. If we had bigger crowds and even a bigger stadium, doubt it would have gone up. Whether the players are the right ones or not is open for debate, but no doubting wages have gone up and on paper the players are better. Money has to come from somewhere and we do have to accept increases. Whether we pay them, is up to each individual.ALL BEST BANTER AND ALL THE LATEST FROM QPR.

Pete - Newcastle / barnsley first game....would imagine home supoort would be same.Im assuming Newcastle however would fill up away end.
If poeple are not renewing season tickets but only attending indiviual matches, then yes, maybe they would prefer to watch QPR V Newcastle if they think it would be a better game. However - i do believe the same supporter would also watch QPR V Bottom of the league - if they were able to attend that match as well. The 30,000 extra Gills or Millwall fans will not attend more than maybe 1 game next season - different scenario.
Of course watching QPR is a drug, but people need money to get more of that drug.
Conners - fair play if you want to pay £1000 per season to watch QPR.In an ideal world i would to like to watch every QPR game. For me - family and work is more important now then and in future. If i won the pools tomorrow - i would go to ever QPR game home and away.Money dictates - and at moment FB is dictating to average fan.£1000 seems an acceptable amount for you to pay for average entertainment at moment.I need a new drive, put kids through Uni , new boiler - hence i cannot justify the increase.
I will continue to travel to about 8 home games person. This includes travel expenses, food, programmes fanzines merchandise.

Lol - Conners - always have and always will. But so will all those that have problems with Ticket prices. It's in their blood and you cannot lose that. When money is tight in people's lives any increase is going to get ill received, especially when people are losing jobs and wages are static.

1000% behind you with regards wages/etc but don't forget QPR have bills also and they need to be paid.
My issue is not with people that cannot afford to go, it is with those that can afford to go but decide to make a stand by going away (i.e. not attend at all) for a while (not you Ade) and will come back further down the line when they feel the board shows them more respect. That is their choice, however, they are not supporting the club whilst they take that action.

Think some fans have been carried away with the talk comming from the board such as Champions league in four years, and you only have to look at the names people post on here players or managers supposed to be comming or players we should go for, to realise some fans don't get that we are still and always will be little old QPR.
