  • Dont want to leave the R's

I was just reading the topic about Cook pulling out

I think Rowlands done the same thing as he was on his way but pulled out too

This pee's me off as they should be hungry to play football and not want to stay with us because they want to bask in the glory if we make Prem

It must really annoy NW that you got certain players causing problems not wanting to leave and we are paying them wages for nothing

they will just get stuck in with the 'joeys' and then that will force them out cos they will have to go, cos its too embarassing and shamefull being there.

Should be keeping Cooky and shipping out Hogan instead.

          Not seen that post

Did Cookie pull out late on Monday, was it his decision ?
          Any reasons given ?

          Same questions about Rowlands ?

          Any interest in Borrowdale ?
          Or Hogan.

To be fair, all could still go out on loan from next week.
I'd assumed whilst Smith injured, Cook & Hogan not going anywhere.

both cook and rowlands refused loan moves.
they are happy with jeremy kyle and homes under the hammer.

              Hogan played well last night

It would be silly to let him go

I see it differently. The fact that they would rather stay and be part of the squad is a positive and some compliment to NW and the coaching team. Good for them for staying loyal to QPR and helping with our promotion push.

They are clealy still part of the gaffers thinking as they were both on the bench last night!

must be nice in your world of seeing the good in everyone and everything.

but in my cynical world, neither of them want to have to uproot and move halfway across the country, when they can stay at home and still get exactly the same money for doing nothing.

Not so much a dislike - just don't think he's all that. Hardly goes past anyone and rarely puts a good ball into the box. If we're judging based on an ability to run around alot, chase back and "put effort in" then I suppose he's ok.

You keep saying that. Cook was NOT on the bench last night!! NW would rather play 3 defenders in Sh!ttu, Chimbonda & Hall than have Cook on the bench. Says it all.

                          Seen the thread now.

Both could still go from next week, when the loan window opens again, and it sounds like Sheff Wed are not being put off by Cook.

If they did go on loan and sign elsewhere AND we manage to get promoted, I'd still find space for them on any open top bus !

Chances are Cooky would attend the PotY do anyway ?
As a fan, with his family ?

I dont see it as loyal but as being lazy and not showing ambition as a footballer

They aint helped with our promotion push and is embarrassing seeing these 2 hanging on when they got the chance to play regular football elsewhere but would rather stay with us not playing games

Its plain to see they just want to stay in case we get promoted

god that post really hurt me a bit.
its a hard old world aint it, cook is a top top bloke and a 'true' rangers boy, not like some who say they are cos they have been here for ages and on the payrole.
its such a shame and i feel well bad hes getting forced out all the way to sheffield wednesday after all hes done for us.
in an ideal world id like him to work alongside gallen or bircham and stay at the club, but i sposse hes still got to play football, and that wont ever be for us, so what else can we do??
