Bedford - its great to see an ex QPR legend such as yourself using the forum, however I do not agree with you.

Why are you highlighting only those games for? Our destiny is in our own hands, we have been 1st in the league from DAY 1, we should concentrate on our form and not other teams. The key games are the ones which include QPR - win those and we are up!

By the way what is a 6 point game? no such thing - 3 points for a win mate!

You are stating the obvious when you say that we will go up if we win our games - but with 17 games to go football is not like that, put another way you could say that if all the chasing pack lose their games we will go up - so I am afraid it is a daft suggestion of course other teams performance will play a part in the eventual finishing table.

All promotion and relegation decisions will be affected by other teams performances - fact of life.

If you have never heard of a six pointer - where have you been for the past 20 years - in my day they used to be four pointers - so thats the effect of inflation over the years.

Being first from day one only counts if you are first after the final day!!!!

Keep the faith and hope the 6 pointers go in our favour.

I am fully aware of the sporting cliché 6 pointers and the fact the result of the game is likely to have a significant bearing on which of the two teams will eventually finish in the higher position. However, for QPR the fact is should one team win it means they get 3 points. Which may not necessarily be to our advantage......... the 6 pointers you like to refer as will actually most beneficial for QPR should they finish in a draw.

Regardless of how these games go, the fact is first and foremost is our own form and we must look to find the form we showed in August and September.

No doubt you will respond with a clever d*ck response - I have an opinion and you have an opinion ..... but you cant change the fact that I disagree with your opinion because you are wrong!

        End of..... GOOD BYE

I said it at the time when we played Forest away,i thought then they looked a very good side, but we more than matched them and actually should of won,so i see no difference when we play them at LR,we have more than enough in the locker to beat them, they may be up for it,but so will we be,we are not suddenly gonna collapse in the last 17 games.have faith !!! U R'ssssssssssssss !!

A six pointer normally describes a crunch game between two clubs who are neck and neck in the league. If one of them wins, it's 3 points to them and their nearest rival fails to get three points, so drops 3 points, and you have a 6 pointer.

Draw with Reading, beat Forest and then try and get as close to maximum points from the run of playing the lower teams, although their tactics could well be to kick us off the pitch (as they know they can't match us football-wise).
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Pompey tried to kick us off the pitch on Tuesday...

2-0. End of the day, we've got a great opportunity to take a big step towards promotion with the Forest game coming up. Let's embrace it.

i've never bought into this 6 pointer argument

IF you lose a game to someone else (whose on the same points as you ) you don't drop points .... you just get no points !!

Hence they now have 3 points more than you do !!!

But, if you beat them, you will have 3pts more than them, so the difference between the two results is................ 6 pts.

The positive is that derry and faurlin have been in superb form and if they can dominate the midfield then we will win. Adel and smith back will cause them all kinds of problems. Just need to make sure we don't give earnshaw a sniff. Shame dexter is injured
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!
