Talking of form since Christmas we've played 8, W4, D3, L1, which is 1.88 points per game. As you can see in my signature the average for automatic promotion over the last 10 years is 1.90. The average for 3rd is 1.77. So although we've drawn the odd game and we're not playing as fluently as we have done previously our form suggests promotion. Continue averaging 1.88 for the next 17 games and we'll get another 32 points which would mean we'd finish with 88 which has been enough to finish higher than 3rd for the last 10 seasons.

agree bedford however I tend to be more concerned about our games.
If we keep winning then teams will drop off, it would be nice to see other games go for us but we need to focus on ourselves.I played sunday league football today.
Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.
I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.
We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Win home games , draw away games, job done. We'll be watching premiership foootball next season.

They were close to going up last season and have near enough the same squad. And without top quality Championshhip sidfes like last season's Newcastle and WBA, is anyone surprised how well they are doing? I'm not. Add in the fact that they got beat in last season's play-offs, they have surely learnt that they need a top two finish.
I looked at their games a few days ago, and they do have a lot of fixtures that will push them to the limit, so they do look likely top start dropping points soon. But QPR have a habbit of dropping points in games they should easily win, i.e Burnley, Millwall and Bristol City, all at home.
I agree, this is amongst the closest Championships I have ever seen. Normally the top two or three would have a big 10-15 point gap by now, but not this season. There are only a few points separating the top 8.
