I still think we'll win the league, but at risk of sounding like a stuck record...Forest will be the ones to push us all the way.
    Your mum would love me...

The only difference between Forest and QPR is they have strikers who's job it is is to score goals and we have strikers who's job it is to hold the ball up and bring others into play.

      It really is that simple.

It has to end though , they wont keep winning and are still behind us even with 2 away games in hand, rather the points in the bag.
Win home games , draw away games, job done. We'll be watching premiership foootball next season.

Forest were one of the favourites to go up from the beginning so it's not really that surprising that they are doing well now after a slow start.

In terms of squad depth, I'd say ourselves, Forest and Cardiff are the best equipped to last. With Cardiff occasionally prone to a dodgy result, I can see it being us and Forest taking the top 2.

We are unbeaten in 5 now, so it looks like our supposed wobble could be over. Forest won't be able to keep up this form, so just be happy we are 7 points clear of them at this stage.

closest championship in years and years aint it. so many teams could still be automatic, and so many still reach the play offs who aint in in them yet.
thats cos the quality is really poor this season imo, no excellent teams in it, so its a big cluster.

same was said a few weeks ago regarding watford.. and then again before xmas regarding cardiff.

it will all change but hopefully only beneath us. we need a string of 5 wins in a row to just make distance between the pack.

im more worried with the NUMBER of clubs who could push us to the wire.
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
                Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

Our system seems to be working better!!

We have scored 48 goals and Forest 38.

Forest run will come to an end just like our's did.

                  Forest coming away games include

                  QPR - SWANSEA - LEEDS - NORWICH

PLUS HOME GAMES AGAINST CARDIFF - WATFORD - LEICESTER.

KEEP THE FAITH - IT IS OUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Go and compare the last 10 games and then tell me who's system is currently working better.

By the March 1st, Forest will have played last night's match and the following:
                        Nott'm Forest v Watford
                        QPR v Nott'm Forest
                        Scunthorpe v Nott'm Forest
                        Nott'm Forest v Cardiff
                        Nott'm Forest v Preston
                        Millwall v Nott'm Forest
                        Middlesbrough v Nott'm Forest

Including last night we will have played just 6 meaning that the two teams will have finally played the same amount of matches.
                        Reading v QPR
                        QPR v Nott'm Forest
                        Preston v QPR
                        QPR v Ipswich
                        Middlesbrough v QPR

Obviously if they beat us and win their games in hand they'll go above us but as it stands we still have the advantage (points on the board) and if they don't beat us then even if the win their two games in hand we will still be top. Watford have games in hand as well and will be fighting for play offs. Cardiff needs the points to get back in the automatic positions. Our home form is very good and Preston, Scunny and Boro desperately need points to survive so will be giving everything even if they look easy on paper it won't be. They won't win every match and come March 1st we will still be top.

There are 46 games in this division, anybody can take stats in certain segments and highlight certain factors like Hull have only lost once in their past 13 games - but I do not see them overtaking us.

                          It's 46 games that count

I agree bedford but to be fair our form does really need to pick up. I hope after last nights win we can go on a run, the next 2 games against Reading and forest will be tough and 6 points would be a superb achievement and give us a decent gap. If we can beat the teams around us it will make life so much easier. I was gutted to lose to a weak Norwich side and a draw would of been a decent result.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Systems should be judged over a season not 10 games. No one wins the league because they have had 10 good games. I agree they have good attacking options but as far as I'm concerned it leaves more players to exploit when we're on the offensive.
