CRAP atmosphere we only get behind our team in adversity or big games i.e. Reading down to 10 men, and Sheep shaggers, even saw Warnock waving his arms to the paddock to get benind the team near the end

At least I can't be blamed anymore

Away supporters 9 times out 10 are louder than us. Its just one of those things, that hopefully as the season unfolds we will get louder

I thought that was to get the ball back into play.
To avoid any further time being added for time wasting.
        I could be wrong though.....

A block and pretty much the entire SAR side are all pretty much quiet every game. Q P And R blocks do sing the odd song and the gurantueed cmonnnnnn u'rssss everytime we get a corner.

I've sat in so many different places, but X-Block has to be the best by FAR. Yesterday we didn't stop singing. I don't think there wasn't one song we didnt sing apart from any mackie ones. For example, we sang

          - **** off pompey , pompey **** off (everytime they gave that a go)
          - We've got so much money la la la laaaaa
          - Paddy kennys havin a party, bring the vodka and the charlie
          - On your own, on your own on your own
          - your support is ****in ****, youurrrr support is ****in ****
          - Top of the league, (all the versions, were avin a laugh, and the fast version)
          - Can you hear pompey sing, NOOOO, noooo
          - should we sing, should we sing, should we sing a song for u
          - tarabts worth more than you (lol) and the other version, (t's too good for you)
          - the all new shaun derry song got one or two goes
          - cheerio cheerio cheeeeeeeeeeeerio
          - 2 nil on your big day out (lol loved this one)
          - Your're only here for the rangers, herrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrreeeeeeee for the ranggerrrrrrrrs
          - stick the blue flag up your ####
          - we are qprrrrrr said we are qprrrr
          - oh west londonnnnn, oh west london

So lads, there were more but I could be here all day. In my opinion it was great, and if any of you were in X-block, weren't the guy drinking tea and giving it large hilarious.

I think that a lot of people are just too tense and nervous to joyously get behind the team. The magnitude of waht we're on the cusp of achieving is weighing people down. It sounds like the performance in first half was turgid and fuelled peoples' nervousness too. Does sound like we need to officially designate a vocal/raucous area of the stadium where the louder, more optimistic and raucous fans can congregate and generate some atmos'.

Good effort but gotta be honest you can't hear it near the away end. Unless we have half the ground signing then it just peters out in background noise.

Some good points on here but still not gonna sort it out. Its a shame as could really be the difference between going up or not.

Hard to take listening to 1000 Pompey fans laughing at how quiet we are. Couldn't really disagree. Anyhow, bring on the Reading.....

Sat is S block last night and you could hear q,p,r,x,and a blocks very well. 2nd half a block sounded very loud. q.p.and r blocks sang almost continously as did x block. problem is we don't have 1500/2000 singers in one area.

Looking forward to Friday as we always give it large at away games.

Thought atmosphere last night pretty good but you could taste the tension after we went one up. We're all s***ting ourselves in case we go on to draw/lose a game after the Bristol f*ck up. Fans didn't relax until the 2nd went in and then again the last 5 mins seemed like ages!
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!
