His tantrum on Saturday probably did us a favour withe the transfer window closing. Any club half considering a bid would have said 'no thanks' after his strop on Saturday.

I'm glad he is staying. He'll turn it on tonight!
First game: Arsenal vs Queen's Park Rangers at Highbury, Saturday 17th November 1984.

He will play the same as normal, if he its a good patch he will destroy Portsmouth, if they ark him out the game he might struggle.

Either way unless the crowd behave badly towards him, i expect him to give his all in his own way.
One for all.... and all for one

I saw the 'Incident' last night on the footie show and Marc Bircham was having a new bottom hole ripped out of him by Mark Bright and the fella hosting the show. How you can say what Taarabt done was "was neither here nor there" is beyond me and I did not realise he was in such a confrontation with Derry and others.

That's the one. NW asked him to be a bit of a plum to put the UtD scouts off. Worked a treat. And now that Carroll is worth 100 Billion for 10 minutes in the Prem - we will get a propper price next year!

like you Ric Roc am glad we didn't have to fend off "The Big Boys" also worry about his ego....but feel Warnock is the guy to harness both his talent & temperment but like you say we'll find out in the next few games....from what i've picked up from newspaper reports he was almost non-existant at Hull and i've seen his head go down when things aren't going well for him or the team....but we'd be a lot worse off without his 13 goals and numerous assists....so we're really lucky to have him and we'll just have to put up with his tantrums....he really is something else and he's still got plenty of time to improve....that must scare the 5hite out of opposing teams

If and I under line if the was unrest in the dressing room this would easly seen on the pitch and twitter etc. Was it not Tarrbat with Jamie name under his shirt after he scored. Every thing I have read by other players and heard is they put up with tantrums because what he can add. Derry is the man who well have a go on the pitch at him and the amazing thing is that once he giving the kick up the #### they get on with the game. I believe that we the fans ave to put up with this becuase of what he can do and I believe that the other players do put up with it. Also one more thing if a player not liked they would not pass to him or help him out when other players from other clubs go in hard at him. What I see on the pitch is one unit yes the argue but has not anyone on this board at work.

Northken & macca good points. I'm pretty sure Adel will turn it on tonight to show the watching public / press etc he is still the best player in this division.

He's always much better at home than away anyway imo.

seeing this has made me think, has he had a great game away from home this season?
must admit ive not been to one yet, and i cant remember from reports etc.

What make you sure that he purposely did that expecting a bid? Why don't you just assume he had a bad day like any one?????

Having a bad day is when your first touch goes missing, you miss an open goal or score an own goal etc, etc, but to just walk around in a hissey fit while your team mates are playing around you and then ficking your arms twice in the air, as if to tell Derry to f-off, is not a bad day and after seeing last night, it was disgraceful how he was allowed to get away with it.
