Cant believe Carroll is worth that.Theyd of been better buying Noble fraction of the price.. Liverpool are a very poor team. But 50m for Torres. bit over priced considering his goals tally so far.But then again poor supply to the forward man. Silly money being thrown around from the bigger clubs to the rest of the league.Massive gamble just to qualify into champions league. Look at what its done to Scottish Premier.utter crap football but the big two just buy any quality the rest produce. Now they are attracting champonship players just for the old firm matches....

I rate Carroll highly. His fee has no reflection on what Taraabt is worth.

You have to pay serious money for a young striker that can score over 20 goals a season. Until Taraabt performs in the premiership adels fee can't be set.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

I rate Carroll as well, but £35m is still inflated. Quality, old fashioned centre forward who scores goals, but it's a gamble at that price.

I genuinely hope it works out for him. He's a bit of a rogue, but I like that in him. Proper lad.

            Andy Carroll - £35 million

            David Villa - £ 32 million

            Who would you rather have?

i dont rate villa. put him in prem and id bet you carroll would score more than him.

villa is in luxury, iniesta, messi, xavi feeding you the ball.

Exactly - and bear in mind that price tag would suggest that Andy Carroll is one of the best players in the world over the last 20 years. laughable and very high risk.

Luckily they got Suarez who is a far better buy IMHO.
