  • Non - league gem

Qpr could do a lot worse than look at 26 year old striker Matty Tubbs of Crawley Town.
I've followed his career since he played with a relative of mine (Scott Bartlett) for Salisbury City where he scored 163 goals in 251 games before signing for Crawley.
He's now got 25 goals in 26 games this season including the winner at Torquay yesterday in the FA Cup which makes them the first non-league team for some time to reach the 5th round.

Crawley drawn away to Man.Utd in the 5th round of the FA Cup.This will put Matty in the shop window.

      r u his agent?
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Took his goal very well but was lucky to still be on the pitch at that point after kicking out at one of the Torquay defenders behind the ref's back, who I have to say was shocking.

Last 'gem' I saw in non-league was down here at Bognor, young lad by the name of Joe Oastler. WAY too good for Conference level even at 18 and wasn't surprised we picked him up.

I went to the pre-season game at Crawley in the summer, and Tubbs got at least 1 of their 2 goals against us.

                  Looked a decent player.

He's a very tidy player, i think he's got a promising future ahead of him.
