  • Is Goole the town that time forgot?

We stopped at Goole on the way to Hull yesterday and if there is anywhere in Britain where time has stook still for many years then it was there

All the locals wearing tracksuit bottoms with roll ups hanging out of their gobs and looking as misrable as sin

The pub we popped in which I think was the only pub in Goole and opposite the train station was advertising Jazz and Rachel as the regions best strippers appearing next Saturday with tickets only £8. For that price up there I bet the locals think they will end up with an all night threesome

Both the Landlord and his wife both had two black eyes (honestly) and the only one behind the ramp who looked even half normal was a sexy little blondie who has agreed to jump on the coach when we stop off again on the way to Scunthorpe

Yeah was a very strange place.

You can see where our taxes are going!

A proper hole of a gaff!

Paul I think you would agree that you too would look as miserable as sin if you lived in Goole.

its an awful place as is much of humberside, no work, no money and not even a pretty bit of countryside to make up for it.
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks

yeah we shouldn't slate EYR's home town and local.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

my mates missus is from Goole, she left in the 70's with her two sisters and brother, in fact her sister married a Ranger as well, so if you see some odd looking bods . . .
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross
I must be guided without a stumble
