Warnock is canny enough to know this, as would be a lot of other managers to then counteract it with just a single marker, or even none at all and switch to zonal marking. Its a fluid game that can change several times over 90 mins.

Whichever way teams try to cope with him the bottom line is that with a talent like Taraabt more often than not he'll find a way through defences with either a goal or an assist, especially at this level.

Im still not sure how Warnock wants him to play.Maybe he wants him to finish on his own whatever the space or how clear cut the chance is? Dunno. But Myself, I cant really believe that to be honest. But according to some who saw the game last night, Tarrabt did pass when that was needed. Personally I find such a piece of info very encouraging because I know that he our best passer of the ball aswell.

The only fault in his play is that he yet isnīt a perfect decision maker. The other aspects of his game is MARVELLOUS.
The fact that he doesnt track back is because he isnīt really allowed to do so.

Spot on, at the moment it seems that if tarbs doesn't turn it on then we aint going to win, it's about time other players took the burden of tarbs,it's not rocket science if there's 2 or 3 players on him there should be plenty of space elsewhere.

Or are we a 1 man team?

I dont think Taarabt will have another hissy fit like yesterday. Neil will sit down and massage his ego and do what he needs to do.

I dont think its the case that if you crowd him he gets sulky as he is skillful enough that he gets out them situations and thrives on dazzling players

Yesterdays game sounded like he was annoyed at players not passing the ball and passing it short.

He needs to learn to act professional and keep his composure during the game which i'm sure NW is working on

We have seen many great players in the past like Cantona who was much worse throw there fits but the football they play out weighs there tantrums

Like I said in another thread... bench him for certain away games.
Play 2 up front, who will work hard.

Could be risky for Warnock, with AT's attitude though.

its weird , pathetic, disgraceful and shameful how some fans can turn 180 degree on their best players instead of helping them and supporting them. QPR is top because of him, in all stats suggested 30 points from 47 points are solely gained by him.
like these threads show you use the player just for you benefices and when he has hard time due to kicks and knoks he got every game with no protection from neither his own teammates nor referees, you just turn you back on him. you really dnt deserve player like him.
he is doing all by himself assisting (top of of the league not only the team) scoring top also.

one man team and i love he plays for us but he's still an unprofessional arrogant pr1ck.
Let Neil massage his ego so we get out of this division then sell the nob for big money (no way will he settle for us even in the prem anyway)

He's 21 years old -- he just needs to mature for a couple of years.
Won't be ready for a bigger club until he does, and will still need a father figure like Warnock (or Curle?) until that happens.
But what he offers still far outweighs his 'moments'.
(And, changing the subject slightly, it would help if refs gave him some protection from some of the stuff which was dished out to him first half yesterday -- his strop started after a couple of fouls which the ref ignored, including a run he made with his shirt being pulled and his legs kicked all the time he had the ball. We had other players injured by fouls which were also not penalised. Right homer, the ref yesterday.)
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

Buzsaky back soon, Routledge and Smith, Miller up front. Thanks to some good January signings this is not so much of a problem anymore. I would love teams to put two or three guys on Taarabt and try to mark him out the game leaves the others a lot of room and they are all quality players at this level!

Only frustrated sides mark him too much. Don't think Cardiff an Leeds will do that.
