If as reported Warnock was after 2 strikers in this transfer window and given the fact that we have more injury problems to deal with, it would make sense to get Phillips in on loan to the end of the season, assuming Brum will let him go of course.

I watched him last night on the ITV highlights and he was a handful against Coventry, scoring a really well taken goal and forcing the keeper into a couple of excellent saves.

It's been repoted about a £2M bid for Lita, which I have my doubts about, but in Phillips we could get a proven goalscorer with no initial outlay who would be here for 3 months and hopefully help push us over the line.
