Adel is going nowhere, we all know that! We get promoted his price triples, if United want to sign him for 8-10m then so be it, i doubt they're interested though! He's very frustrating in the Championship, far better players in the Premiership to man mark him, he's an absolute legend in this league and will torment teams and i think he'll have days in the Premiership when he's unplayable BUT i don't think he's got it in him to be a top 4 player!

Not doubting he's the difference between promotion or not though, been outstanding this season and i think we and the club will let him go next season and see if he's got the ability to make it as a top player week in week out in the Premiership! After his couple of seasons here i hope he does, raw talent is there for all to see!

Tarbs is a match winner, on his day he wins games for us on his own. He's shown that time and time again this season. I had the pleasure of watching Stanley and he was the same. Some days Stan would throw his toys out of the pram, some days he had a bad game. Like Adel he was a Maverick. Good days, frustrating days. Its what you get.

If your happy watching drab defensive 'lets not lose' football then all well and good. But I'll take skillfull, entertaining, frustrating, maverick, whatever you wanna call it players any day.

Tarbs will get us promoted and then he'll be off. Good luck to him and thanks for a great season.
22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!

So are we expecting a deadline day offer for Taarabt then? The last 48 hours of transfer windows usually throw up a surprise or an unwanted bid.

I can see it myself. Not sure it will be Utd but can see someone coming in for him in the next 2 days.

BS story, taken from what has already been said in the week, ffs can't even get the transfer fee right I thought it was £600,000 not £500,000.

I wouldn't be so sure about that. Rooney publicly held Man U and Fergie to ransom. Rooney made his demands and got what he wanted, this is the state of football today. The youth will grow up thinking they can have what they want, Rooney and Taraabt need to get some gratitude in their lives. Taarbt, although a genius, is somewhat predictable, premiership defenders will know what to do and how to deal with him, he is fantastic for us at this level, but realistically should we go up and get an offer of 8m plus we should take the hand off and re-invest the money in a more premier league orientated squad. With his ever increasing ego will come ever increasing contract and wage demands and he could easily turn into our own Wayne Rooney. I do like him as a player, when he isnt a petulant chilld, and would wish him all the best if we were to go up and part ways with him. But in the long run he'l cause more trouble for the club than anything else, QPR is bigger than one man.

Apart from probably barca, there is no outstanding team in world football that is too good for Adel imo. Name me a top side apart from Barca, and I will tell you players Adel could replace.

Can you really imagine taarabt working under fergie? You think he'll put up with getting a b*llocking rather than an arm around him and being 'took into the showers'? Probably end up with a boot thrown at his head.

                            from sporting life....

QPR midfielder Adel Taarabt believes he could soon be on his way to Manchester United.

The playmaker has caught the eye this season in helping Rangers to the top of the Championship table after struggling to make the grade during a three-year stint at Tottenham.

Taarabt is not short on confidence, though, and has already set his sights on returning at the very summit.

He claims a switch to Premier League leaders Manchester United could be on the cards, with discussions regarding a deal already opened.

"Nothing is official yet," Taarabt said

"I had discussions about my transfer after my performance against Coventry.

"I'm ready to go to Manchester United.

"We'll see later in the season, as I'm hoping to reach the promotion target with my current club QPR.

"I like England, so I am not against the idea of continuing my career at United."

......... makes him sound like an arrogant and unlikeable pr1ck somewhat..
