F*cking dirty, negative, annoying northern monkeys.
Right, now that's off my chest....
Haven't read a single post on here from today, so if I'm repeating stuff... tough.
Adel. By his standards, a nightmare.
By anyone elses standards, average game. Not 100% sure why he had his hissy fit?? nobody really saw anything serious happen to spark it.
I think he'd had enough of all the shirt pulling, tugs, trips etc.. with no protection from the (p*ss poor) referee.
Add a few comments from his team mates about the usual stuff, as well as the moon entering Venus, and time of the month... and he lost it. Second half he was a good little boy, but basically did very little.
It gave the Hull fans some material to flex their comedy muscles, in the form of songs.
They failed, miserably. A right bunch of dead-heads, if ever there was one.
Nice stadium though, as long as you dont mind sitting in traffic for half an hour afterwards. Sh*t chips too.
Other stuff?? Not much to write really.
Bradley Orr could have scored a couple, he had our two best chances. But I'll forgive him, because, along with the rest of the back 5, he was very solid.. and limited Hull to basically f**k all. Apart from a late chance for Matt Fryatt.
My MOM was Clint Hill... that probably says a lot about the way the game went.
Up to the edge of their box, we were the better team by a MILE.
Miller was very decent, quick, nice vision and touch, but quite isolated. He tired really badly after about an hour, but at least he didn't hobble off injured. Unlike Tommy Smith and Faurlin.
Smith looked like a hammy pull, and Faurlin was unable to run off a knock that looked to really hurt him about 10 mins earlier.
Routledge was our biggest attacking threat, showed great feet, and had Hull in trouble all day. Great addition to the team, but was guilty of greed and overplaying at times, even more so than Taarabt today.
Back to Adel... the one thing that struck me about his tantrum was, if there was any chance of a top Prem team putting in a big £bid£ for him soon... that disappeared today.
He needs to grow up some more. And if it had been anyone else, I'd have been going potty right now.
But he is the main reason we are top of this league, and the main reason that Hull parked the bus and played like a lower-league team who were playing Spurs in the FA Cup today.
So it's easy for me to forgive him. Warnock knows that, and so do the rest of the players.
Everyone knows that Derry is captain anyway.
A decent point, the least we deserved, a top defensive display... but I do feel that our system away from home is geared to not losing, rather than winning.
We could have easily won it today, but a combination of a very negative Hull team, Taarabt having a "weird" day, poor final passes, and a lack of ambition to pile forward stopped us.
But it was a good point... as long as we nail Pompey on tuesday.
