Whilst quietly I sort of admire his arrogance,his childishness and petulance are going to be as equally as damaging at a crucial stage of the season as the good work influenced the first half of the season.
Some of the celebrations by his team mates when he scores,are muted to say the least,and speak volumes about what the atmosphere is like in the changing room after some matches.
1 goal and 1 magnificent assist against Coventry and 2 goals and 2 assists aginst Swansea illustrate what a talent he is,but there's no way he should be captain and allowed to insist on taking every set piece,which,particularly corners, are proving ineffective.
His recent revelations that "after his perfomance against Coventry his agents went for talks with Real Madrid,but that as he likes England he would settlle for Man.Utd at the end of the season" doesn't instill confidence or team harmony.
I'm not as big a fan of AT as most of you and feel the less appealing side of his character could be our downfall unless NW does something about it soon.Perhaps a spell on the bench,comming on as an impact sub (after 60 mins.Neil not 85) may help?
