Dos santos isn't banned from the national side, Vela got a 6month ban in september.

you sure Jamie? He threatend to quit before the world cup, but played and was their best player in the WC, and he played and scored in Mexicos last international back in October. Vela is banned for some party antics, but Gio is still playing and a very important player. Excuse my geekness on the Mexican national side, just love the place and follow the national games.

Last I heard Gio had definitely chucked in the towel but there's every chance I'm wrong.

Yer his bro has. I watched their last game and gio played and scored, that was in october I think. They haven't played since, so unless he has quit recently he is still playing. I do remember the argument though that he was going to quit over his bro not in the squad. They got a good side imo, Hernandez will go on to be a legend for them.
