I think you'll find Oldham and Wimbledon (still disgraceful what happened to them) have been out of the prem for just as long

Sadly, I wrote to my local Council a couple of weeks ago asking for permission to strew bunting up between the lamp posts on the local High St if we go up (a la what they do for diwali, Christmas or their own publicity but the difference being I will pay rather than the general populous). Rangers is after all the local League team and we are supposed to engender a community spirit. And celebrate success. I cited their own bumpf all about these principles to prove that point. I await a response. I have already got quotes for the cherry picker and the banners themselves. All I need is Rangers to deliver, the Council to say yea and a couple of layabout Poles/Students to do the doings and Harrow is R's. I am reckoning the Council are the tricky part but it is still Rangers so I am not printing the banners quite yet.
