I think you might find that 2 odd yrs ago Bale was on the verge of joining on loan as he wasn't getting a game at Spurs, as the famous man once said, it's a funny old game.
    Kept the faith!

I hope we don't go down the loan scenario, that was a path imho that previously stiffled us. One of the great things NW did was to get the club less reliant on loan signings by either shipping them out or turning them into permanent contracts. I think loan signings have a destabilising effect on a club.

Also dont agree with any talk of big named signings, i dont want players playing for us just because we are a london club & our grounds in the best part of london and the wives can go to westfields. Again NW with his magic hat has got in players that simply want to play for the club, i've been so impressed with Kenny, Derry & Hill - what great signings and you can just see from watching them that they simply love playing for us. I hope the way NW has built this "great" team continues and even the worst case scenario (we go down next season) we have a base that can easily get us back up rather than the recent position of not having a sniff for promotion to the premiership for 15 yrs. An influx of loan signings and targetting big names will do us no favours in the long run.

We MUST keep NW he's orchestrated our rise perfectly and I hope he is allowed to continue bringing in players that add to the squad and spirit of the club rather than players who simply use us as a stepping stone. NW has used the loan signing scheme but not become reliant on it and I hope this continues and we become an established premiership club based on secure foundations.

A very sensible post. And dont rule out the possibilty of getting in a few players from abroad aswell(if needed). By now we should have a decent network of scouts in place worldwide.
