Man Utd (ECWC & Champions League winners and finalists)
    Leeds (CL semi finalists)
Liverpool (UEFA Cup winners & finalists and CL winners and finalists)
Chelsea (ECWC Winners and CL finalists)
Arsenal (UEFA Cup winners, ECWC winners and CL finalist)
    Fulham (UEFA Cup finalists)

Still dominant. The only time England wasn't dominant was during the ban and the immediate aftermath.
You only detail from the Ban, what about Man Utd, Liverpoo (4)l Nottingham Forest(2) and Aston Villa European cup wins , let alone all the EUFA, Cup Winners and Fairs cups that English teams won consistanly before Sky turned up.

How many times have England won the World Cup with Sky?

Sky did not save Football, they just made well off footballers very wealthy.
I have supported Rangers for 55 seasons, since March 1969.

We may have the best domestic league in europe, but it has not helped our international team.Despite having "the best players ??" either this has not rubbed off on our home grown players, or we are just not producing enough.

          Jesus get a grip.

Sky have not ruined football - bad management and market forces have.

TV was going to buy into football more, regardless fo who had the contract. The money from SKY is far better used in this country than other countries like Spain and Italy.

Spanish League was the best in the World a few short years ago - now it is a joke.

The Premier League is a great product and our lower leagues are the most succesful and watched in the world.

Letting stupid people run football clubs and agents and players raping the fans for every penny is damaging football - not Sky.

European football had been in progress 44 years before Sky came into the UK market so, naturally, there would be, pro rata, at least twice as many winners.

murdoch (sky, notw etc) keeps dossiers on everybody in the public eye. the police are afraid of them, politicians are afraid of them, because they'll always threaten to dish the dirt if they don't get their own way.

now you know why the phone hacking scandal stopped dead in its tracks a few years ago. peter oborne did a nice documentary about media abuse several days ago. watch it.

I have worked for Sky but I also know that live TV is basically the same across the different networks. Everything is recorded and they know this. Whether you work in front or behind the camera it's all recorded for all types of reasons. They are well paid professionals who should have known that you make a comment (whether you believe its banter or not) that somebody finds offensive they'll eventually get in trouble. Obviously someone has taken offence to what was said and has let it publically be known.

If they want to think and talk like this then do it in the privacy of the pub. But as I said they are professional people who must have assumed they could have gotten away with it.

Spot on Sirpie and my thoughts exactly.

I think the comments to Charlotte with Andy pervy Gray asking her to tuck him in would get you in trouble in many work places let alone Sky, where he is paid a handsome wage to try and be professional.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Agree with you totally Facto but at the end of the day Keys and Gray have shown themselves to be brainless to say things like they have when there were cameras and microphone all over the place.

Alternatively it could have been someone who was offended by their comments. We now know of three incidents where comments like this have been made but how many others have there been? If you worked in this or any kind of set up and repeatedly heard comments which you felt were offensive then you might find yourself saying enough is enough - something has to be done about it.

I bet it took a lot of guts for the person to break the story who has probably had to put up with comments like this for years because they believe themselves to somehow be bigger than they actually are. Sky is full of female producers and editors (and I've worked with them) who can hear every word being said and thought why should I continue to listen to this?

I did say earlier in the week that these boys would both end up losing their jobs. It is absolutely pathetic.

News International cannot preach about sexism. Why is it that women presenters in their sports and weather sections only get the job of they are as fit as f***. You trying to tell me there is no level of sexism there.

THIS IS NOT ABOUT SEXISM. Sky wanted to get rid of Gray and it will all come out over the coming weeks as to why that was the case. People have committed suicide over this company in the past rather than be exposed and embarressed in front of their friends and family.

The quicker we get rid of them out of football, the sooner QPR will have a chance of winning the Premiership. Under SKy, the big clubs get bigger.

As for men, we should stand up for one another. THis chat goes on all of the time. Stand up and be counted and tell these minority groups that try and tell us what we can and cannot say to go and do one.
