Been trying to think of "good" or "positive" black connatations...

Can only come up with potting the black to get highest points in snooker or Jim Bowen giving prizes for getting yer dart in the black bits of the board or financially being in the black. Everything else black appears negative; black-balled, black-leg, black mood, black sheep, bad guys wearing black in the movies....... it's a bloody minefield - good job I'm not mic'ed up all day!

Whether he likes it or not, Andy Gray is an employee of Sky and therefore represents them and for him to make those comments about a woman, makes his position untenable. If I made similar comments in the workplace I'd expect to get reprimanded or sacked. Or given a subscription to the On The Buses Fan Club?

Having said that, his sacking comes from the same Murdoch umbrella group that still promotes Page 3 as acceptable, when some would see it as offensive to women.
