If this is true it would appear like he was wanted out and this gave them the ammo.

An apology should have been enough, if anything this highlights why women shouldn't be involved in men's sport.

it's all about the banter, a temporary ban pointing out the error of his ways and an advertising campaign using his words and then showing the lady getting decisions correct, backed by sky would have done more good than sacking the man, agree or not?
