Big Dan update anyone please?

Sorry to start another thread on this issue but couldn't find anything whilst trawling so wondered if anyone had any news on the big man or any other possible targets please?

He is still under contract with Millwall, I think it actually expires tomorrow (but don't qoute me on that). I would be very surprised from what I've heard if he isn't announced straight after the expiry of his contract at Millwall.

Am I the only one who thinks the wages for DS would be better off going towards a Striker.

With Chimbonda, Hall and Borrowdale surely that is enough cover.
Basically 7 players for 4 positions.

Our striking options are Hulse Helgusson and Miller.
3 players for 1 or 2 positions.
2 of which are not very good and the other can be recalled.

Strikers! - you know it makes sense.

Valid point rodman but I think the way NW would look at it is 1) no faith in Borrowdale that's been proved in his squad selections & 2) the majority of our goals have come from midfield ie; Mackie, Taarabt & now Routledge to chip in with a few so don't think he sees up top as a priority. Just my view on it.

For the record I would like another striker also.

However... the only cover we have at CB is Fitz Hall who is prone to a groin/hammy/thigh strain every 2 weeks so we also need cover at CB.

We have enought strikers, I would presume you want Taarabt to play every game and unless its 14 a side, not sure where all the other strikers would fit in.

I can't believe i'm saying this, but we have enough strikers, and not only that Miller is a top top striker

Was thinking Dan would only be in as back up but after watching Connolly get battered first half vs King and Eastwood at the weekend I'm not so sure - bit worrying.

and helguson missed a sitter on sunday but **** happens.

miller hasnt score for us yet i mean he hasnt even played 90minutes in 2 years!!!

basically saying you can pick holes in every player but it does NOTHING for us.

smith can also play striker and to be honest id go as far to say taarabt is a striker too..

Point is Miller is replacing Agyemang and now Helguson is injured,well theres always Vine.

As for Shittu if hes slower than what weve already got then that is worrying,Eastwood and King are not exactly quick but they left our back two for dead

I've said it before and I'll say it again, with Adel's goal per game ratio, plus the strikers we already have (even with HH's current 'injury'), we dont need another striker.
